JOSH MARTIN OUT OF A.C.
JOSH MARTIN IS OUT OF A.C.. SETH WILL BE PLAYING GUITAR AND VOCALS, AND TIM MORSE IS STILL ON DRUMS. WE ARE NOW ABLE TO DO A BUNCH OF SONGS THAT JOSH COULDN'T PLAY LIVE. NO WORD ON WHETHER WE WILL BE GETTING A NEW GUITARIST, WE WILL BE A 2 PIECE FOR A WHILE"
Songs that he couldn't play live? One could throw a guitar down a flight of stairs and that would be equivalent to playing an AC song.
so totally false.
jeezus christ, you are SO on this bands dick it's pathetic.
Ok Chris Burns
Though AC does sound like noise, they use the same hardcore riff a million different ways over and over again. That would confuse the fuck out of me if I were on tons of drugs like Josh usually was

If Bastard Noise sounds like they did last night then nobody here will be disappointed. I've heard reports of them having ultra long soundchecks in other cities but I didn't think it was so bad. I'm also curious to hear about how Anal Cunt is as a two piece band, so post the scoop on that!
psycho's set ruled. they played more new songs that i hadnt heard before. also, they cut off a couple songs from the end of their set list. they also put their set list on a small piece of paper so every single set had all of them squinting at a small set list figuring out what song was next.
ac was weird. it works except that seths vocals are all low and not high. when the guitarist from insult got on stage, he was able to do the more traditional ac vocals.

low vocals in AxCx = Vaginal Jesus, I believe...the other night he was telling me the set list he planned on doing and named a bunch of VG songs.
Actually, I was going to say that.. Sort of. Patac got up with Bobby and did vaginal Jesus which was weird cause seth's vocals were more like VJ when he was playing the guitar.

I was kinda dissapoint with BN. I've seen some live stuff that sounded awesome and was therefore psyched. Wood barely did vocals which to me is a very vital part in the MITB and BN stuff. The electronics sounded awesome but the music just sounded like two guys jamming. The bass sound was kind of weak and they took like an hour to set up. Awesome drummer though.

The set really has nothing to do with BN recordings I am into, so I was not expecting it to sound that.
that was the most people I've ever seen at PA's. I was a bit disappointed with BN too. I totally agree with c.dead there. The bass sound wasn't right. it was too quiet. Also, I love how with all that feedback, he was freaking out about feedback we couldn't hear from the PA. Basically, they set up for over 45 minutes and then the first 30+ minutes of their set was also them setting up. there was a solid 15 minutes at the end that sounded good.

That "guitarist from Insult" is the bassist from Insult who is a former AC guitarist (see Top 40 Hits CD, Breaking the Law 7").
The AC set included songs from VJ, a bunch of Satan's Warriors songs, a Rebuild song, and some AC songs that have never been played live before, so it was definitely interesting. Seth seemed to have extensive tuning probs though.
The BN set was way more like MITB, which was fine with me.

Oh c'mon Brad, you know me better than that. You really think there's an AC song I can't play? Its more like "songs recorded before I was in the band that Seth never bothered to show me"
