So fara lot of people said that same thing. Astronomer was really good, but the sound was off with the level of the vocals. From back of the room all I could hear was the vocals. In front of the stage I couldn't really hear them.
They. Who? Finisher just finished. They have the drummer from furnace now and he's pretty relentless and fits in with their sound. At one point, he was playing with only one stick too.
Velnias was good but underwhelming a lot of the time. They fall into a lot of tendencies of the "we're too good to play a blast beat" post-black metal thing.
I had decent expectations of Altar of Plagues coming into this show, and they completely exceeded them. I wasn't sure how they were going to translate live but I've got to say they're entirely better live then on cd. There were times when I was legit blown away.

So pissed that I had to miss this. Car ended up breakin' down and had to pay $1,600 to get it runnin' again.
Altar of Plagues sound was really spot on. I agree wtih them sounding better live. Missed all the earliar bands because I was late, but it was sooo worth it anyway.

SO i apparently wasted 7 bucks on Velinas's new ep. It plays the first 20 seconds and then fails in all players. Fucking hippies need to learn how to press a disc correctly. I've decided I don't like this band anymore..
