oct 9 is "death metal night". looks like this is their first ever metal show.
yea, this is the first time they are having a metal show at their place, maybe the last? if they let us do it again at some point ill be sure to have Deathgod Messiah and Blessed Offal for a round 2
haha, after the way they reacted to the first flyer, im guessing that is a good possibility. dont know how happy they will be about the word Rape being yelled repeatedly at the top of our lungs

is it a new crew running that place or something? if its the basement i'm thinking of i've definitely been to punk and metal shows there before. last time i was there ramming speed and the body played.

yeah, i googled it to see if it was the same place i was thinking of and noticed theres a flyer floating around for a "last show ever" for the place sometime last year. all the recent stuff looks like bad indie rock. must've been a changing of the guard. this should be interesting.
Drums: there is a yamaha stage custom series 5 piece kit, drummers just need to bring their pedals, snare, throne, and cymbals. there are only 3 cymbal stands, one ride and two crash, so bring extra stands if you will be using more cymbals.
Bass: they have a Peavey TKO 75 in there already, but im guessing its not the greatest piece of hardware out there, i believe someone will be bringing their own bass cab if people wish to avoid this peavey, but i have to double check if that person is cool with letting others use it as well, ill update that info shortly
Guitar: there will be a cab used for the back line, but bring your amp head, and of course your guitar haha
the flyer for this show said "The 7 great empires" and had Hitler as one of them.... i was compelled to take them down. (in southie practice spaces.) booo, show looks awesome.
this was a blast, totally different than what i expected. thanks to Wadzilla for being totally cool with everything, including the moshing in their basement. i think the sound was better there than at O'Briens. hopefully we disrupted the hipster vibe.

i think it was this girl Emily Bleak, she sent an email about the show and asked if it was cool to take pictures, dont think shes posted them yet. i know a few other people took some as well
