New site? Maybe some day.
how am I not playing this game right now? |
i can't stop playing the multiplayer. |
now that i have this ill new TV, Oblivion looks awesome but i need to get RedDead or ASS CREED |
Got for xmas from carina's momma. Now, I'm going to have to work out a schedule for black ops and assassin creed. |
you get any of the exclusive skins? the officer or the harlequin? when can i jump off a roof and stab you? |
I haven't tried the multiplayer yet but the main game was great. |
Great game. It's kinda like an open world Tenchu set in Rome. The multiplayer was fun but I thought it got old fast as there is really only one mode. |
I'm waiting for the DLC zombie pack! |
Got for xmas from carina's momma. Now, I'm going to have to work out a schedule for black ops and assassin creed. |
Schedule:
9am-noon: Play Super Ass Creed Bros
Noon: Return Black Ops for store credit
12:30-Sleep: Continue Playing Super Ass Creed Bros |
I couldn't return it. My work girlfriend got. Copy of it too so I have to play it. |
Bought this today for $16 after trade-ins. Pretty cool. Nice to play a multiplayer that isn't all out madness.
Didn't finish the first AC, and didn't play AC2, so I have absolutely no idea what the hell is going on.
I've been killing loads of people. Is it just me or riding he horse inside rom is pointless. |
Yes, yes it is. Riding a horse in general is pretty pointless. |
When ever I have to chace someone with the horse, I lose the mission. |
games good so far but i dont have multiplayer. My only with ass creem bros is the overuse of awkward horse. |
In the middle of this now and completely addicted. |
finished single player the other day. game was fun, but really took off once you start acquiring and leveling up assassins. |
Yeah, I just got my first 2 assassins. |
I'm too busy rebuilding Rome and making mad $. |
Make it rain F-money, or whatever the fuck that shit is. |
don't attack a borgia tower with green assassins. |
Every time I try to burn a borgia tower I get totally owned. Haven't quite mastered the combat system yet. |
You have to be sneakier, and don't try to fight a shitload of guys at once if you can avoid it. |
don't attack a borgia tower with green assassins. |
This sounds like some sort of clever way of saying "don't pick your nose" |
I just got the first ass creed for $4 hahah...its only okay. I'm told ass creed 2 and brotherhood kill it though. |
First one gets mega repetitive...I couldn't even finish it. Can't complain about $4 though, haha. |
yeah, #1 had promise a decent story, but so repetitive that I just wanted it over. #2 was great and one of the first games I played after beating it.
#3 is getting good. |
I spent 3 hours last night burning down Borgia Towers and rebuilding Rome. I haven't even done a single memory in forever. This game is ridiculous. |
I now have the crossbow and smokebombs as well as 4 assassins at my beckoning. |
I have 8 assasins tha are mostly lvl 7 or 8. I'm also making over 12K/20 mins and my banks store something like $60K. Still haven't hit a memory for a while. I started buying landmarks, but that seems pointless. |
How the fuck do you get to that viewpoint on top of the broken aqueduct? I want to burn more towers, but I need that viewpoint to unlock. Tried everything.
Also, the flying part SUCKS. |
I haven't done any flying in this one. the flying for leonardo in the first sucked.
The aqueducts, you need to find a architect standing around the broken aqueduct. I have repaired one of them. I think there might be more? not sure |
Yeah, it won't let me fix the aqueduct because the nearby tower hasn't been burned. But the region with the tower won't unlock until I hit the viewpoint. Oh well, there's plenty of other shit to do. The flying thing is going to take awhile. |
I don't think that is right. The viewpoint shouldn't be what you need since you can run inside places before seeing them from the viewpoint. What you need to do is unlock the memory in that location. You do that by doing missions. Even some side missions can open up things like that. |
Yeah, that must be it -- there is no fucking way to get to that aqueduct viewpoint right now. |
I think I know the one that you are talking about and I just rebuilt it, but I didn't think to get back up on it. |
I'm so fucking annoyed with this game right now.
I have 2 memory starts that are both in forbidden areas that desynchronize me as soon as I start running to them. I have absolutely no idea what the hell I'm supposed to be doing. I'm not even that far into the game either. FUCK. |
Dude, I hate to tell you, but it's not that hard. This is coming from a "binge" gamer -- I get horribly addicted to a game until I beat it, but then I don't play anything for a long time. Maybe go back to arcade classics like Pacman. |
I'm as much of a binge gamer as the next guy. That's why this is pissing me off so bad. I've done everything possible to figure out what I'm supposed to do in order to either get to those memories, or do another side mission to get something unlocked. Driving me nuts. |
timma: level up your recruits, take down all the bogreia, rebuild chunks of roma.
Also, use the map with the filters so that you have icons that show up or don't show up. You will find there are memories to run through that you didn't see. they are weird shaped icons. |
I have no recruits. I don't even think I've gotten far enough in the game to get them yet. All I've been doing is burning down towers, and rebuilding.
I did use the filters, and when I filter out all of the extra crap that's not missions, all that's on there is me, and the 2 memories that I don't have access to.
Clearly, I'm retarded. Is just wish I knew why I was so retarded in this particular facet of life. |
At least you're shattering the stereotype that Asians are good at all things computerized. |

i had that problem too. i wanna say that region gets unlocked around sequence 6 or 7. the game was finished soon after that. |

where exactly are you in the game, sequence wise? what was the last memory you completed? |
I have no clue what memory I last completed. If you don't have recruits yet, then you have mmores to hit. I wished I could remember what sequence led to the recruits. I think it was #3. And that was the last sequence I did cause I'm just leveling up. |
At least you're shattering the stereotype that Asians are good at all things computerized. |
Hahaha, awesome. Gold star for you sir. |
where exactly are you in the game, sequence wise? what was the last memory you completed? |
I think I was supposed to save some whore, but they killed her anyway. Then I talked to the engineer, and he rebuilt the whore house from which she came. I can now summon said whores to help me hide. Pretty sure that was the last thing that happened. |
pretty sure the next mission is at the top of the map, you have to sneak into a castle, save someone, and carry some screaming bitch down a ton of stairs.
after you paid the architect to renovate the brothel, did it say that you've completed sequence 3? i ask because the above^^^ mission is the first in sequence 4, and you can's start a new sequence until you finish the previous AND get at least 85% complete. you might just need to renovate more of Rome. |
he has to get the thieves on his side to finish sequence three. |
isn't that before renovating the brothel? |
i thought the brothel was the first thing you did of the three. At least it was for me. |
Finally figured it out.
There was a Animus "wall" blocking me from getting to my memory the way I was trying to go. I didn't realize I had to go around the long way in order to get to it.
Like I said, I'm retarded. |
I finished the flying part which sucked. |
I keep hearing all kinds of badness about the flying parts. Not excited for that. |
Last night, I didn't just get one assassin... I got 3 at the same time! |
I think with this, the answer would be no. but maybe later. |
also, I think you have to do prostitutes then thieves, then fighters.
Anyone beat all 5 fights in the basement of the fighters? Once you learn how to do that, you can make some coin. It's all about tossing dirt in their eyes first. |
How does one execute the dreaded "dirt toss"? |
I was just thinking that myself. I seem to be able to do it in the loading screen when you're running around aimlessly, but not in the actual game. |
equip punch and then hold down punch. You will scoop up dirt and toss it. Higher ranked guards do it to me all the time. |
Nice - will utilize this tonight. |
hm... I need to figure out what I've got left to do. I'm at the end of sequence #4 and there is nothing on my map I can get to besides leonardo. |
ok, figured it out. took the subway in. |
Yes it does. The machine gun part is a pain in the ass too because you're not supposed to kill anyone or get detected on the way in. I am done with the flying, the tank, the machine gun and the boat parts. |
The broads in this game have huge CGI milk balloons. |
I did the machine gun and the flying. Sneaking in to the flying place was a million times worse than the machine gun. I basically used a crap load of poison darts. |
I beat it, but have been going back to finish stuff (Romulus treasure, etc.). |
I stupidly keep going into the romulus place. I haven't been playing it for a while. I think I'm at the beginning of sequence 5. |
You need to have all 6 "keys" before you can claim the treasure. The treasure is way cool armor and a nasty dagger. |
I have been told the Romulus armor doesn't break either, correct? |
Yeah, it doesn't seem to ever need repair. |
ACII had the samething with these crypts you had to go through. I went back after the game was done to try to get them all, but then I didn't finish. I felt like a girl. |
I guess I'm in sequence 7 now. |
I was just turning off my game to watch a movie and a movie and while saving, it passed sequence 7. |

for some reason in AC2 those tombs were my favorite part cuz I loved the way they did the platforming. I beat all and got the armor asap and then I wished there were more platforming parts, but alas. AC bros is pretty good so far, but whats up with the random blob shaped areas you cant go to? You have to go like all the fucking way around in some parts. Also, there have definuitely been some frustratig glitches mainly with the horse and with the haystack jumps, otherwise Im enjoying it though I put it down for a while to beat dead space before 2 came out. |
My xbox's cd drive is dead. I will never be able to finish this game. All is lost :\ |

The parts you can't go into need to be unlocked by doing a mission or something else. |
ya I know but they shouldnt be in the middle of the map so you can see them but have to go around. They should be at the edge like any other game so that the map expands when you beat something instead of there being some random unmarked area blocking your path to smething that is unlocked. |
I just beat this. the ending was weird.. again. another twist. |
Yeah, that must be it -- there is no fucking way to get to that aqueduct viewpoint right now. |
Yep, that took me a couple minutes to figure out.
I've put in 12 hours the past 2 days...the renovations and the assassin party thing is so addicting. The multiplayer is unique too. This is a good setup for the 3rd game (it seems like it's only purpose is to take the good things from ACII and make a real game this time...which they succeeded, they really did a great job on modeling Rome)
I'm on sequence 5 I think. So far the combat is just too easy, you can leave a pile of 100 guards around no problem. Fighting is easier than sneaking or retreating. It's like Grand Theft Horse: Rome, instantly more engaging than NYC. |
These games all lose my attention quickly. Arktouros nailed it, the combat is too damned easy. And the whole thing ends up feeling like an exercise, not a game. I didn't finish the first one, and the second is going SLOW for me. I can only play for short bursts, then I get bored. |
this is way better than II but it's still a lot of the same activity. the missions and settings are a lot more interesting. i borrowed my copy, i wouldn't have bought this. they really need to step it up for III. |
