Ive been doing some research about PAYPAL, and Ive been thinking about using it on our site, but I stumbled on this, http://www.paypalsucks.com and thought differently about it.

Does anyone have any stories or opinions on Paypal?

Maybe we'll have to do without Paypal. We'll just have to sell a billion CDs out of our trunks until we get some labels' attention and a get a distribution deal going, kind of like MC Hammer. Bottom line is I want to be like MC Hammer.

Aren't there Paypal-type services that aren't Paypal?

never had a problem with paypal... i've sold and bought on ebay... the print your own shipping label option is definetly handy...

i spent about an hour reading sit on this site and it alot of it makes sense but it seems as though it 95% about credit card fraud. just dont be stupid with the information.

for example i set up a special bank account just for paypal and i never keep $$ in the paypal account. if i buy something i transfer $$ to the e-bay bank account then transfer it to paypal. basicly this way if anyone gets my info i can only lose whatever im buying at that minute since it is not tied to any other $$. there is never $$ in it accept for 30 minute when i am buying shit.

yeah what aaron said...but if you are going to use it for people to pay for cd's..do it

just know that they charge a minimal commission and umm
to protect yourself .. do this:
if someone wants to pay for a cd make sure that you are a seller who only sells to confirmed addresses this way you won't run into issues.

I haven't had any troubles in the short period of time that i've been selling cds of my record label site. speaking of which, how much are you selling those bad boys wholesale?

I've never had trouble with and my sales increased when I put it up on the site

So how does this pay pal shit work? Im assumming you put a link on your website to your paypal page to place and order?
