Directed by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins. Judging by the trailer, I don't think it will do justice to the original TV series. I was hoping it would lean more towards atmospheric horror, but this looks more like a comedy to me.

Meow meow meow, sure am glad I died in a fire rather than having to watch this because Eric's girlfriend has been a fan of Johnny Depp ever since she starred in Crybaby with him as Hatchet Face's stunt double.
