I'm always so harsh on my live pictures... but geez.. all the pictures in pit mag and most of the pictures in circus mag sucked... you can tell by the over quality of the pictures that the camera they use are the sony f717's and ones like that.
makes me wonder why succubus and I don't have more pictures in these publications.
I flipped through some other mags too and realized it was all the same 5 people shooting 90% of all the pictures in all the magainzes.

also, I saw some diecast pictures used from the pia pix that carina helped out with.
yea.......whoever actually publishes circus has to be at least 60 percent blind. the live pictures are friggen terrible in that mag (well from what i remember, i havent touched one of those mags in like a year and a half, i only touch terrorizer and random porn)
I've always wondered how you get "in" on that kind of stuff. I feel like my photos are of good enough quality but I don't know where to even start as far as soliciting magazines and stuff..
I've asked a couple of places if they want need free-lance photographers...
but I get "no"s.
usually, the way to do it is to get an agent. you go to a show, come home, get the pictures processed and touched up then upload them to a server and the agent has people request photos from them and they sell them and you get the $$.
I see that paradigm and think "FUCK YOU". I would rather them look at them on this site and then ask me for them. screw the agent.
I would rather make nothing and put my pictures right away on this site.
fuck magazines.... i only buy them for the centerfold posters anyways. otherwise they are worthless, you can get all the news and info online for free.
