Prove me wrong, promoters and bands. I'm scrolling down the events page. I don't want to see Bruce Springsteen or Forever the Sickest Kids. Aug 23rd at Ralph's looks good and I will go. Great shows will make me drive far, maybe. I will be going to Saint Vitus in Brooklyn for Saint Vitus and Primordial. Other than that it's pretty dry out there. Help a bro out who hates most bands but loves music. What should I go see in the near future.

Twisted Sister on June 11 2013.

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:14am
Why go all the way to NY for Saint Vitus when it's coming to Cambridge?

Unless you're closer to that area instead of the Boston one.

toggletoggle post by Yeti at Aug 14,2012 8:15am
just stay home and play AD&D. you'll have a better time.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:15am
I have heard tales of the splendour of that place.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:15am
lol, maybe.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:15am
I'm in Worcester, there are shows around all the time that I don't care to go to.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:18am
no love for herugrim or blessed offal? GTFO.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:20am
I'll be going to Morbid Angel and Grave, it'll be the first time I've been at the palladium since Nile, Immolation, Krisiun

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:20am
When are you guys playing? I didn't see that

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:21am
yeah that looks like a good one.,..will go

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:21am edited Aug 14,2012 8:22am
I'm going to see Primordial in Cleveland and visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Sounds more exciting than New York

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:24am
Some shows i'm actually attending:

August 18th - https://www.facebook.com/events/375865482480050/
Sept 3 or 4 - Sunn O)))
Sept 7 - Rush
Sept 8 - Kreator
Sept 9 - Primordial (in Rochester)
Sept 21 - Hevy Devy
Sept 24 - Saint Vitus
Sept 29 - Morbid Angel

Don't know if any of these interests OP, but yeah.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:27am
Ark hates Rush.

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:28am
And so does my mother.

Doesn't make Rush any less awesome.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:32am
Hate is such a strong word isn't it. I grew up on early Rush, can I support their ticket prices and the Geddy Lee show any more, absolutely not.

Kreator was awesome last time I saw them at the Pal-aids-ium. I'd go see them with Accept and STS. I do like Sunn but I'll miss that. Bottom line is Spence rules.

toggletoggle post by CurlyRed at Aug 14,2012 8:34am
Everyone should hate Rush.

I am sure everyone hates in industrial music but me, but there is a good show coming to Worcester. I was surprised they never come up here, they only play in NY/NJ area on the east come when they come around.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:36am
Everyone here loves industrial. And the Ark rush thing was sarcasm

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:38am
Industrial rules. Could do without the baggage that comes with it, I just like the music. Industrial shows are generally pretty lame....what show is coming to worcester?

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:43am
Needs less imagined RTTP hatred for industrial, and more info on said industrial shows.

toggletoggle post by CurlyRed at Aug 14,2012 8:45am
Aesthetic Perfection, probably one of my favorites. All beauty destroyed is their best album if you haven't heard any it is worth a listen. They are coming with the birthday massacre which I could give or take.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:49am
When?

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:52am
Friday, November 30th apparently.

THE BIRTHDAY MASSACRE
William Control
Aesthetic Perfection

20 bucks at the door, upstairs.

/palladium website

Could've swore The Birthday Massacre were more of a downstairs band, I imagine this will either be moved downstairs or sell out upstairs.

toggletoggle post by Alx_Casket  at Aug 14,2012 8:52am edited Aug 14,2012 8:54am
I'd definitely go see that show, when and where is it?

Edit: thanks Spence. Saw TBM upstairs last time, don't think they ever did downstairs.

toggletoggle post by ark in ur base at Aug 14,2012 8:53am
The Birthday Massacre I could also do without but Aesthetic Perfection I will check out.

toggletoggle post by ImdustrialRed at Aug 14,2012 8:54am
Let's do drugs, red

toggletoggle post by Spence at Aug 14,2012 8:56am
I always imagined The Birthday Massacre were super popular. I guess not.

Will check out Aesthetic Perfection as well, and also William Control for shits and giggles.

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 14,2012 8:58am
Someone make a thread about it

toggletoggle post by CurlyRed at Aug 14,2012 9:01am
I was surprised to see The birthday massacre upstairs too, they have a big following.

Sorry it is Nov 30th. Thanks Spence.

This. There are no skeletons to battle at metal shows.

ecstasy is more with rave/techno music lol

toggletoggle post by Bloblovesmusic at Aug 14,2012 9:15am
The Birthday Massacre played the palladium a year or so ago upstairs and didn't even fill it.

Renaissance, the 70s prog rock band with Annie Haslam on vocals, is playing Showcase Live on October 13. (They just headlined the last NEARfest with Anglagard.) It's not on the events page.
