first off I would like to say, I am buzzed from Jack Daniels and kind smoke...but here are two songs of what I would consider gentlemans black metal if such a fucking things exist. Grow your Vattnet Viskars on yer face and discuss, monicals are optional...

What you put up was pretty interesting.

Of course you could just go all out and call it "The Gentleman's Victorian Post Black Metal Musical Sphere Experience " , but I would suggest just having an ectoplasm exposure with your preferred Spiritual Medium.

Covenant's Towards the Crown of Nights is a good song choice

A Forest Of Stars is an awesome band. I had the honor of seeing them live in London a year ago and they were incredible. Nice dudes too!

Bon Jovi, all. This certainly is a lovely thread, I say! Jolly good, tea and strumpets! Now I must depart, as I'm running rather late for an evening in my study with a good fag and a spank of the monkey. Cheerio(s lower cholesterol)!

That Code song is pretty good, reminded me of VBE/Virus.

If you don't ever look at a video, album cover, or goofy promo shot A Forest of Stars isn't really that weird of a band.

If you're looking for gentlemen wiling out in 2012, metal has some catching up to do:

I WANNA DIP MY BALLS IN IT!!!

toggletoggle post by Eurolymius at Sep 11,2012 9:46am
I love their first album. Especially the vocoder they use on the last track, WHAT? But I currently dislike their newest release. They've really amped up the fancy lad.

^ I'm replying to Bob. I clicked reply, I don't know what the fuck happened.

toggletoggle post by Burnsy at Sep 11,2012 9:53am
Eurolymius, I believe you're referring to their second album, "Opportunistic Thieves of Spring." If you haven't heard Corpse of Rebirth, get on that poste haste. I have yet to get the new album.

toggletoggle post by ark at Sep 11,2012 10:01am
yeah the vocoder's on the second album. i have a rip of the third one, it rules and they didn't mess with the formula, whatever it is.

toggletoggle post by Burnsy at Sep 11,2012 10:02am
Just bought it. Will have it in a few days. Can't wait to hear it.

Disagreed. I find them to be pretty weird regardless of their image and fictional bio.

Also, I'm loving the new album. I don't like the production as much as on opportunistic thieves of spring but the vocals, riffage and songwriting are top notch as expected.
