She was such a great educator here in the halls of Eastland. I’ll never forget the time back in the Fall of 80’ as that years school year was starting and Jo arrived here and got all the girls in trouble by stealing that van and they ended up having to live above the cafeteria from Ms. Garrett. She taught them that grades do matter and the value of hard work and also to just say no. RIP Miss Garrett the halls of Eastland won’t be the same without you.
