the audience was weird.. cause it was like 4 separate shows with the audiences not really spilling over to the other bands.

talk hard: a pump up the volume quote? some of it was a little campy. punk mixed with hardcore and some chug chugs like bury your dead.

the hound: I was really impressed. remember the first tour of undying with the new girl singer? this is basically what you got here. the singer's voice still seems weak and untested (exactly like logan from undying). they are going to be playing a bunch of shows. I give them 6 months before they are on a label like trash art or bridge 9.

disappearer: (ex there were wires) you know the "weird" stuff that tww would do? that's what this was. sparcely populated sound scapes. some heavier parts. I think they should play with conifer at some point. a lot of people who didn't like twws will love this band. I think they had the largest audience.

all else failed: perfect... the last time I saw them, I followed the singer off the stage into the crowd and he came out bleeding. this time, there was no blood, but the singer was part of the audience the whole time. they started off with the revisionist (my fav) which was near-epic. such great energy and people loving their set. they just got a new drummer so they could only play 8 songs, but they stil busted out a 9th. I was hoping they would take jonah up on his offer to drum for him.
