This show was a book release for the book Free Stickers With Every Order!. B9 is such a great place to see events like this. I end up just chitchatting for the longest time with old friends. What a great night.

It was excellent again, running down to the pressroom on my bike and then get back early. It was also really cool seeing 3 bands for the first time which have some old friends in the bands. A double shout out to the sound guy who was playing something that sounded like a modern day Throbbing Gristle in between bands.

Another killer night at the Middle East. I hadn't been there since last year.

It was an excellent snowy night back at the bungalow with a bunch of bands that (minus hard target) that I first/last shot a decade or 2 ago. Very cool night.

| | How could that end well... Yep, I'm back at shows. I drove down into CT to stretch out my photography muscles. Lot's of old friends came to the show too. | |

And just like that another full day of mediocre photographs is in the book. The festival was awesome. it was a long, but quick day with constant friends. Sorry for the people who I missed. Also, this closes up another year of photographing concerts. I will be recovering from surgery after Wednesday and I will see you back at shows in 2026. The radio show will be filled by Gammalyte Starship 12/22 and then I'll be recording at home for the 29th and probably the first 2 weeks of January. Se you in 2026!

This is my second to last show of the year and what a banger. My second time seeing Saves the day and Glassjaw, but I saw Glassjaw 23 years ago. Piebald definitely stole the show, but it would always be hard for anyone to play after them. They are headlining in Portland tomorrow/today and will probably do a lot more songs, including pianos.

Another short, great night in Eliot. Mortar was surprising, because kids are bringing that old metalcore sound back. It's crazy because I started going to shows around the time that the metalcore sound was blowing up. It's cool to see bands sounding like bands did at VFW halls and American Legions back over 2-3 decades ago.

| Yep, that's right, add Prong to the long list of big bands that played Ralphs.
