would you rather have these bands/people fighting on a message board, or going to each other's shows and beating the christ out of each other there? because that would ruin shows, and eventually ruin places to have shows, because the owners wont want to book shows that will end up in fights (see FSU/new england hardcore in general).

the problem is that almost none of these fights would begin with at all if people didnt just bitch about other peoples bands on here. its so easy to complain when your facing a computer screen instead of a person.

though i agree, people are going to continue to not like other people's bands. so how about, in the future, we make the criticism a little more intelligent and little less "those guys are fags" which just makes you sound stupid anyways. i doubt if people's criticisms were on the actual music and lacked any personal insults that people would get so upset.

i certainly don't want to see the board turn into a lambgoat type thing, but stuff like everyone ganging up on the wretched asylum singer, and whole threads on how a certain band sucks don't help.
