There are more than enough people willing to join the military. Democrats started the draft rumor. There were 2 bills floating around congress that would have instituted the draft. They were written by democrats. Republicans took the bills and voted them down hoping to squash draft rumors. Wrong. Recruiters are having a harder and harder time meeting their quotas. I'm sure there enough morons in the red states willing to die for George W. Bush's agenda (and are dumb/naive enough to think they are dying for freedom) but it won't last. The democrats started the draft bill to make a point. They didn't actually want a draft. Duh.
