why did I go to this show? cause it was 100% all bands that I didn't know at all.
were they metal? no.
were they hardcore? no.
it was a good show none the less. props to chris for taking up a show that wasn't his typical. a big 8===D to people who didn't go to this show cause nobody came in and it was a lot of good eclectic music.

they're all robots: good stuff. I think it would be a lot better on cd, but it was cool to see live. At one point there was a guy who ran around and played everything with a violin bow which you actually could hear live. it was funny cause wood was on drums. I really like the stuff he did with the electronic drum pad. the only song that I head with singing sounded like american analong set's singer. the singer was drunk later on and thanked me. I would have to thank him for his praise.

nightmare bear: they have a keyboard player normally, but he wasn't present. I think that they would have sounded a lot like horse the band with a keyboard player. the only band on this show to have their own lights. the dual singer were ok.. but I think they could do more with it. maybe they do with the keyboardist.

mommy and daddy: just a bass, drum machine, girl and guy. it was really cool. they had a lot of energy an switched up a lot. when the guy was singing and the girl was on bass, it sounded a lot like PIL and with they switched up, it sounded more like crass. these guys get my surprise plus for being the band that I didn't know the most and being the best.

chariots: this features the ex-singer of norma jean. this was also the band that I went down there to see. yes, seeing their name on a bill convinced me to head over.. well... down to PVD. good stuff. I must say that they had a lot of energy for a crowd of none. the singer was all over the place and playing a keyboard at the same time.

call me lighting: I relly didn't stay long enough to really get an idea of their music. sorry, but I tried to snap quickly and run out to see IONs set. which I missed. they had a lot of energy though.
