Never let the fucking pigs search your car. They can't do it without a warrant, but they'll do their best to make you think they can. They'll approch your car guessing that you're young and probably don't know your rights, so they'll use it against you. The only thing he could legally nail you for are the cigs, but I feel if you're retarded enough to smoke those in the first place then that's your business, they are more harmful than many "illegal" drugs, and cause more deaths, but as long as I don't have to breathe it, anywhere, ever, go ahead.
