It's totally cheesy and overly dramatic, but that's what I look for in power metal (and in Viking metal to a much much much lesser extent) and don't worry, I already know I am an untrue metal poser. I do think they have their own little niche though, and I like the way that most people can usually pick out a Falconer riff the instant they hear it and can tell their vocals apart from most other bands in the genre.
