Kids with one parent are actually statistically proven to be worse off and more prone to crime/drugs/ect.

Yea, it's their fault for having sex, but it's not the child's fault. I don't think preventing slum-births is really a negative thing, personally.

There's a world of difference betwen kids born out of wedlock and kids with one parent. Kids with one adult in the home tend to prove worse off, because fuck there's only one person to bear the burden of raising them and keeping and eye on them.
