They're very dry. It's like a magician who has a bag of tricks-- you've seen a rabbit being pulled out of a hat, and the woman being sawed in half a thousand times. It's just like that. I've seen people spit blood.. lights.. fog.. etc. The frontwoman is stiff as a board, and has no charisma. The whole band seem more inclined to cultivate their image rather than play decent music. Although, I will say that there's nobody else like them locally. The scene in Portland is practically devoid of anything subversive. They are that.
