McAffee Internet Security will always take up more CPU resources than Norton. CA is even worse and protects less. I've found that Norton Internet Security 2007 with Webroot Spysweeper to do the trick. As for the free stuff, you get what you pay for. I'm sure it's better than nothing, but when you are running windows for an OS, you have a bull's eye on your system every time you go on to the internet. As for spybot, that doesn't prevent any new spyware from getting onto your system, and it likes to remove windows system files thinking that they are spyware. Just my 2 cents.[/QUOTE]
