yeah I am really in the dark when it comes to relays on a pedal. One thing you need to take into consideration is there is really no hifi sound going into the front end of your amp. It's all mono signal. Shits boarderline turn of the century (20th century that is, not the 21st we are in now haha) record player technology as far as the signal it's self is concernd. I am not sure I see the added benifit. So long as you are making solid connections, and getting the signal to the amp as fast as possible I don't see how any hifi relays will make a notable difference. Especially if they are just going to old board that run regular capacitors and resistors. It's probably a good idea but won't catch on until guitars make the jump to midi and true hifi signal is actually going through. Thats not going to happen for a LONG time though thats for sure.
