jamey jasta: basically, in its current form, jamey jasta (hatebreed/icepick/kingdom of sorrow) in front of the providence based band Phantoms, playing covers of hatebreed/icepick/kingdom of sorrow and playing one original mixed in there. Sound totally lame right? When you say it like that it is... But in practice, it came of superb. Jasta, the kids backing him up, and the crowd just had fun with it. It was at this point that I remembered how tired I had been driving to the show and how not-tired I was at this moment. Sing alongs and stage dives. That's what this was all about. That and a dude who plays shows to thousands having just as good as a time in front of 100. They also ended with before dishonor which brought the crowd into a [controlled] frenzy.
