Lenovos are IBMs and you are going to spend 1/3-1/2 more for a lenovo. if money wasn't an option, I would get a lenovo w700 or w700ds. My IBM was more solidly built than any Dell. I would stay away from hp/compaq or gateway. Toshiba's are "ok" but slower. Sony's are awesome, light with the latest technologies... but they break easy.
