Agreed, Garafalo stand-up from the late 90's is some of the funniest smartest shit ever done. There are a lot of funny female comedians, I don't agree with the comments in this thread at all. In fact if I had to name terrible comedians, there are about a thousand male stand-up comedians I'd mention who are awful and annoy the fuck out of me before I got the chance to get to any of the women.

Although I do think that Lisa Lampanelli is overrated.

On the other hand, I fucking despise Robin Williams, Sinbad, Gallagher, Carrottop, Richard Lewis - more guy stand-comedians than I could list...
