Hell, I listen to some bands that are definitely hipster. But I think the use of hipster as a derogatory term, especially in relation to sludgy bands gets thrown around WAY too often. It just seems to me that any bands that have gained popularity over the past few years and happen to include sludge elements in what they play gets called hipster, when most of the bands that get called that aren't really hipster.
