Hoser is correct. In addition to the conservation funds generated by licenses and duck stamps, most hunters also belong to conservation groups. Here's two that I belong to:

http://www.ducks.org/

http://www.ruffedgrousesociety.org/

Both of these organizations do more with conserving wetlands and woodlands than any anti-org has ever done. Plus both DU and RGS have gun raffles at their events, which is cool.

DU tries every year to get me to join. I'd love to do it, but I just don't have enough money for all of the associations. Never looked in RGU, but would love to as I hunt more of them than ducks. Second season is in my friend!
