I had the motherboard replace over the spring (only one memory bank was working) after that I was getting continuous "Delay write errors" when it was copying, moving, or saying files. this would cause the computer to freeze for up to a minute. I ran a defrag and it got worse... reinstalling winxp did nothing. now, I'm on the phone right now and I'm getting the motherboard replaced again, the harddrive replaced, and the cpu... possibly the battery. oops, they just said no to the battery... that means I have to re-install everything... bumma!
