I am a Configuration Analyst for a giant Data Storage Company (just like Succie) and I also make pretty good money.
I is my 3rd postion in the Company in 6 years.
I started in Customer Service on 2nd shift in the Call Center which sucked ass...
I then went technical to Product Support which sucked ass even more...
Now I am where I am and it is a bit better than the last 2 positions..
It sucks sometimes and has it stresses but when I weigh the bad with the good offered, I haven't left yet, right! |

i was a middle school art teacher until i was laid off....
now during the day i work at a bioresearch center in the engineering records group (basically i file, do data entry, and do everything everyone else doesnt feel like doing for shitty money and no benefits cuz im a temp)
at night... well ive worked at the Palladium for like 4 years now... best job ...EVER |

Pretty much. They don't know I slack off, though. That's the best part...but when I think about how much I just browse the internet all day...I guess I can't complain too much about my weekly insult.

I'm a software automation specialist (SEII would be and SEIII, but the company has no $$ to promote me).
I also build custom web-database applications of management (basically buiding webpages with dynamic graphic content; pie charts!)
I actually like my job a lot.. though after 5 years and the company still loosing $$ each quarter, it seems like a dead-ish end... |

well, the main reason I got fired had to do with that "corporate ladder" thing, and me not being high up enough. The pantyhose and high heels were just icing on the cake. |

yeah so everyone went out for a birthday lunch...
i decided to stay behind with ram girl
we figured we'd go out and run some errands...
they all left at 11:30ish...and then saw we weren't going and put the pager on my desk and told us to take it (it's not our job during day time hours) anyhow...then ram girl yelled at our boss and wisely said: just because we aren't going out to lunch with them, doesn't mean we should have to take it, we get a lunch break too AND we were going out for lunch..
pager goes off...heh
and she left and then he asked me to take it for now...and i told him but we cant't necessarily help them..and he said, at least call them back....
what could i say?
i'm suck an ass...i said ok
he left for the meeting
ram girl reminded me how they left the pager with us to spite us for not going and reminded me how they back stabbed me only days ago...
and now it's 2pm and no one is back... |

Yup, had we gone with them to their gay ass lunch, this would not have been an issue and the person who is supposed to have it would...
They did it because we did not go. They figured well if they are coming, they can take the thing.....like we don't have our own fucking lives and aren't entitled to lunch because it wasn't with them....
It was pure fucking SPITE!!!

Used to work at 1369 Coffee House in Central Square in Cambridge... I guess I still do but I never work ANY shifts anymore because school takes all my time ever day and every night. Chem, calculus and bio in one semester is a tall order. |
