So this morning (1:30 am like) whilst picking Kelly up from work I was pulled over for not properly pulling over for an ambulance. It's a stupid fucking story, I was well ahead of the ambulance and entering a rotary when it fucking caught up to me and I pulled over to the right as best I could. The ambulance passed me and then pulled into the right lane and exited the rotary. It was probably only 100 feet in front of me (though the ambulance was now on an entirely different street so I didn't see the harm) when I pulled out and crossed the rotary overpass. Coming down the hill after the overpass a state trooper comes flying up behind me and pulls me over. I tell him I don't have my license because I think I left it at home. I get a warning for the ambulance thing but a $35 ticket for not having my license. So after I woke up I'm cleaning out the car and I find my license in Kelly's wallet in the front pocket of her hoody which had been on the floor in the back of the car for the past two days. So can I appeal this and say that I had my license or will they be like "You didn't have the license on your fucking person" even though you will be arrested for possession if you have weed in your trunk?
if you get a friendly judge who cares about your word, then you should have no problem...it's just $35 bucks and will probably be expunged just because it's too cheap for a court to care about.
but the judge will have to buy the story that the license was actually in your car based on faith
