I am not sure how overrated they are.. If anything they are extremely underrated. They are the only metal band right now actually doing something in music that has anything to say.

Dillinger are sick live, but every time I've seen them they use those friggin monster strobe lights onstage which trigger an enourmous migraine for me. I literally have to listen to the set from the next room, or watch and deal with being sick all night.

well I've been standing out side the middle east for over an hour. I was not actually all set I guess.
the show is sold out.
I'm not on the guest list.
the guys at the doors are being fucking dicks.
it's like 20 degrees out so no one is out by the tour buses.

I've now sent in 1/2 of screams of erida, 1/2 of the_network and a hand full of others to look around to find me the tour manager for BTBAM, but I guess they don't have one.

I've already missed horse the band (who's tour manager I also sent in) and DJ flashbulb.

on a happy note, 2 kids from derry (one who also lived in raymond) who went to all the same schools I went to, came down here from college in plymouth without tickets and just got in after waiting outside for 2 hours..

now horse the band is actually finished up. a bunch of people have gone to the BTBAM booth.
no one can find anyone from BTBAM or whatever.

atleast now I'm standing around inside. some girl got a concusion.

funny... with the BTBAM pictures they basically stole, I was thinking about emailing them after this show to work something out where they could do more banner ads and pay me for picture use on other campaigns in the future.

seems like a label that's been around like that should have their shit together and not pull stupid shit like stealing someone's pictures and then not doing everything they can to make sure that the person they're stealing the pictures from can get in to take more pictures (which they could then steal some more from)

"Unfortunately... Tom just told me that they didn't have enought guest list spots tonight to accomodate you.

i just got back from this. anyone see when the guitarist from dillinger jumped into the crowed at the start of their set? well, his knee hit me right on the bridge of my nose, im pretty sure its all fucked up now cause it hurts just to breath through it =\ fucking amazing show though. all the bands kicked some serious ass and that dj dude was pretty sweet too. too bad you couldn't get in Rev. did you see that kid with the white "I <3 DEP" shirt? yeah that was me. standing outside in cambridge in a t-shirt. fucking cold outside.

this show was freakin sweet. besides the venue...well especially the bouncers. i had to practically fight the guy to let me in because my will call tix were under my moms name on ticketmaster. and i guess they wouldnt even let the rev in. dont they know that the rev is the biggest rockstar in new england. FUCK! haha. anyways the first "band" was a dude doing shit loads of effects with a roland processor on his guitar. it was pretty damn cool in my opinion. but lots of kids were making fun of him. horse the band was quite entertaining, their between song banters were almost funnier than the songs themselves. btbam was good. the lead guitar was fuckin loud in the mix which was sweet. they did like 4 songs from alaska, shevanel, and mordecai. it was a good set but the band seemed kind of disinterested. same with dillinger, you could tell this was the end of the tour. the best part of the set was when the singer grabbed a cymbal stand and started slamming it around the stage and throwing it in the crowd. kinda funny. i got a sweet dillinger shirt, and i got drunk. good times good times.

oh ya and there was a sweet pub down the road called the cantab...i had like 4 beers, a burger and fries for like 15 bucks it was sweet!

ouch. i was looking foreward to pics from this one. dep played a great set, so did everyone else. one of the best shows ill be going to anytime soon. anyone who thinks dep is overrated doesnt know what the fuck is up. if they are actually overrated, that is also by people who dont know what the fuck is up. clearly, if you pay attention, these guys are doing something special that will change the way people look at metal. they are not downtuned at all and are thousands times more intense than most of the bands mentioned on this site.
