i dont know about the guitar but the BC Rich Beast bass feels like someone crapped on the fretboard and added a 20 pound weight to the inner part of the back of it (inner meaning side without the knobs for the mentally challenged). also, the sound isnt the greatest either... i mean... two p-style pickups? what the fuck? i own an Ibanez sr485 and im fuckin proud of it... has to be one of the best basses i have played (please note that i am talking about feel... the sound isnt the GREATEST that i have played but it still sounds fucking killer). Ibanez's are amazing and they are popular for a reason. sorry if a lot of nu-metal bands use Ibanez instruments thus making them "un-metal" but ya know what? whether something is "un-metal" or not doesnt mean shit to anyone that considers themself a musician. its primarily about feel. while feel is an opinion, i can tell you that out of all the basses i have played, no way near the top is a BC Rich. guitar either. not to mention the BC Rich basses are heavy as fuck. maybe you should play a Satriani model Ibanez... you might dig those actually. great guitars. nah... what am i saying... that one guy in that band with illegible band logo and unpronouncable name says that Ibanez's are not tr00 and are gay because they arent tr00... so you cant own or play an Ibanez... or else you will be a poser and posing is not metuhl at all.
