We are influenced by Devourment, Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer, In Dire Need, Terminally Your Aborted Ghost, Dysentery, Shading the End, and many others. We are looking for a Drummer, Bassist, and 2 or 3 Guitarists. If you are interested E-mail Jimfear03@hotmail.com |

economics 101
there is not enough demand to meet the current supply of death metal bands.
try starting a black metal band. |
|
I would say start a hardcore, metalcore, or fag/art rock band.
there is a high demand in those 4 genres.
and market trends look good for 4th quarter earnings. |

hardcore is dying out, all fingers point towards black metal or metalcore.
to maximize earnings create a gimmick.
corpse paint for black metal, clothes that are too small for metalcore.
fagrock is definately up for grabs as well, dye your hair black and go to berklee.

I hear the market forecast on fake-suicides at your bands concerts is negative.
joen/c, I think you get your market analization skills from bill o'rilley. |
|
bill o'reilly rules.
i am a market genius and that is why i latched onto the ever growing assimilating powers of prophetless productions.

wow, shading the end is mentioned twice in this thread.

wow, touched a nerve did i?
no offence meant, i'm just saying, without the proper equipment to make both of your guitars as clear and crisp as you can(ie. equalizers, etc).
i'm just saying this because of experience i've had with a band that had one 6 and one 7 string guitar. one guitar would sound fine(usually the 7), while the other guitar's strings would flop and sound like complete mud due to the obscene downtuning.
or the 6 would sound fine, and the 7 would sound too stringy and high.
next time, try not to jump to conclusions so quickly. |
|
standard tuning down d and the seven got standard drop tuning. cunts are fun to lick. metal music is fun. |
|
i like sluts |

7 string tuning and 6 string guitars can work together perfectly fine. It depends who the guitarist is and what they can do. Usually the 7 string would be used for leads considering the is a high E and a Low B. I pefer
the 7 string over the 6 string because I can be in B tuning and also be able to utilize the standard E tuning. Many bands have used 6 and 7 strings together. Such as human remains, morbid angel and cannibal corpse just to name a few. By the way everyone who was in STE appreaciates the influence. We didnt know we actually had an impact on kids. Also be sure to check out the new band with STE members, ill post more info on that later on . |

~~gasp~~ Ascendancy's been using a split 6/7 pair for a little while now. Hooray for 7-strings that don't have to sound like Meshuggah or Korn. Yay. |
|
Any idiot who puts Meshuggah and Korn in the same sentence is just that.....an idiot!

Perhaps I was trying to not list two similar sounds but two bands that sound very different, being that I am a huge Meshuggah fan and not a fan of Korn at all but ~~gasp~~ they both use 7+ strings. Way to go getting pissy at one of the biggest Meshuggah fans on this board. Hold your tongue around grow-ups please. |
