i first heard about them sometime in 07 too, maybe the spring or summer of that year. it was the same time i got into amesoeurs. can't say i was familiar with neige's work prior to then. i'm a false.

Le secret was initially released to limited pressing anyway; it's quite interesting how the project has progressed since then (or the demo for that matter). it's also interesting that he made a 5 album deal.. We have three more to go under his current deal. Interesting to see how alcest will progress in the coming years.

I've talked to almost everyone in the band + Andy Julia (drummer for Darvulia and Peste Noire among others, damn it), they're all cool. Maybe a bit skinny but not emo from what I've seen.
