I bought my ticket last night. I don't believe there is an opening act. I think it's an evening with Down again. I'll also be at 1349 the next night. I've seen Type O Negative plenty of times.

the only time i've seen down was when they did ozzfest and there set time was the same as BLS... since it was BLS's first time around here i had to split my time between the two and only got to here fuckin 2 songs. i am so psyched for this show.

the palladium has no lighting and it would be more like "maybe one of the bands that last played there cared about the lighting and didn't bring their own"
they seriously change the lighting there once every 6 months and only when a band requests it. most bands that have lighting requests bring their own lighting.

The Palladium is a dark, creepy ass theater, it would devour light no matter how you work it.

wow, I enjoyed these pictures, looks like an intense show. Saw my brother hiding in the dark corners in a couple of them, haha. Phil looks weird...looks like the last couple years weren't so good on him, but plenty of shots of him pulling his goofy old moves, that's good. Looks energetic.

Great Great Show ! I fucking stood right next to Pam and was thinking is that Pam hahahaha and it was my bad well sorry for not saying hey same with you Rev I looked for ya but its a bitch at these big venues.Phil really seemed great this was a very intimate show Dime was definatly rocking out with all of us. Phil looks great when he is sober.Energetic and a little better looking than the last time I saw him. But the years have definatly taken a toll on him.

that was pretty damn good. It was great getting to meet and get drunk with a bunch of rttp folk.

I saw the reverend but I was really pissed off and on my phone when he said hi, I was meaning to talk to him later but I never ran into him after that.

I ended up just walking around and talking with people for over and hour. it was like repid fire people coming at me to talk. I would talk to someone and turn around to leave or whatever and *bang* run into yet another person I haven't seen in forever. good times. I never saw pam, but I saw just about every member of her entourage there seeming to be drunk. they all had the same excuse for being there "I used to really like pantera."

anyone that needed an excuse for beig at a Down show is lame.

Other than the one time I saw em at Lupos and was right on the barrier the whole time, this was the best show they've played. Phil was coherent, and joking around and whatnot. They dedicated "Lifer" to Dimebag which I thought was quite awesome.

The new song was total "Children of the Grave"-esque headbangy goodness. The only person I saw who I knew was Josh, and that wasn't until the very end of the night when me and my brother were leaving.

Good.fuckin.times. Thousands of Pantera shirts.

Fucking AMAZING show! This might have been the best I've seen them. Phil is always that gracious and happy at Down shows, it's infectious too. I sneaked up onto the side balcony eventually and had a great view of people I know getting pummeled for the last few songs. Phil pointed at me and threw the mic at me but the dick next to me snatched it. Fuck that guy. And fuck the guy that punched me in the face while I had glasses on, that hurt.

I got to meet Davefromthegrave (and Dadfromthegrave and girlfriendfromthegrave), didn't see Aaron or the Sac guys, bummer. I'm glad though because if Aaron insulted Down in my presence I would have had to fight him.

We got pulled over on the way home and the battery on the Mike and Doris Magical Mystery bus died when we got home. Still an awesome night.

i tried lookin for some of you guys but no luck (although i think i saw grannymonster in balcony.) i enjoyed that video at the beginning alot too... it was way better than some crap ass opening band that i would most likely bitch about. it was also cool that they played Jail... gave me a chance to regain consciousness after being decimated in the pits.

It was awesome barbecuing in the parking lot with Josh and everyone. I didn't really get a chance to get to know anyone, but meeting Pam was very cool.

What a sick fucking show last night! By far one of the best shows I've been to in a while. There is no reason why anyone should have missed Down last night. And I don't fucking give a shit if they were the only band on stage, it was well worth my 26 bucks.

It has been a long time since I've heard a Pantera chant, and let me tell you it felt really fucking to join in with close to a thousand other CFH fans cheering them on. Honestly, Down is really all whats left of Pantera these days. Seeing Phil and Rex on stage brought back great memories of the last time I saw Pantera.

I really hate that Down will never be Down...just "what's left of Pantera".

I love the fact that they got their name because Phil Anselmo goes DOWN on guys and eats their asses out with a bit of syrup or jelly.

no excuses, I suck bum, it was a hectic afternoon for me so I just didn't think about it. I picked up Granny from her work at the time I was hoping to be at the club. It worked out better anyways because we didn't have to wait THAT long. I almost had to be in worcester at 1pm, eeeek. :-O Thanks to my co-worker for bringing stuff down the night before, though the lucky bastard got to watch DOWN with 3 other people while they just jammed through their entire set.
