I'm looking into having monochrome shirts made, but the only band i can think of that has anything close to one is Aborted (the new slaughter and apparatus shirt).


I think Feed us Fetus might also have one, but I can't find a picture of it.

If anyone has any pictures of a monochrome shirt, I'd appreciate if they posted them. I need the pictures as a color reference for the people screening the shirts.

I think he's thinking cyanotype, which is considered monochrome because it's like a black and white photo but with a blue tint.

The Aborted shirt isn't exactly monochrome because it has other colors in it (monochrome is generally two colors, or various shades of only two colors) but it's pretty close:

I want a picture of a shirt that has actual chrome gradient to it so I can show it to the people who are screening it so they know what the hell I'm talking about.

Oh... ha ha, I guess monochrome wasn't the exact work you were looking for, although that other shirt IS monochrome. So you're looking for monochrome with metalic ink?

And I dont know how the crap you'd go about doing the cyanotype shirts aside from whipping something up in photoshop and getting a printing company to press it for you.

and as for the cenotype, I would be doing it in photoshop if I ever did it, but if there a certain way to prepare the artwork for silk screening or anything?

As for the cenotype I have no idea, I don't print shirts, but I'm sure you could ask a few companies and find out if you're really interested.

hey niccolai! yes FUF had a monochrome shirt design, but it never got printed because our merch moneys was taken and the band kind of fell apart after that. if you want tshirts that actually look metallic, its called foil printing, and alot of screen shops do it.
