On my way now...about to start boarding. AA flight so hopefully no issue unlike my trip a couple of months ago on united....anyhow..looking forward to today. I love chicago and want to see more of it. I have today for that and then lolla fri, sat and sun.

I lived in Chicago for a year. It's definitely friendlier than east coast cities and is also home to my favorite record store and favorite falafel place.

I've flown into the airport, that's about it.

I love the pizza here...ohh falafel is yummy. I haven't eaten yet so reading this is making me hungry

Metal Haven. It's a few blocks taking a right off of the red line Belmont stop. Sinbad's is the falafel place, and it's less than one block heading the same direction. I spent a shitload of money on cds and falafel when I lived there.

Chicago's a great city. I've been in Metal Heaven, good store, I didn't see too much doom. Maybe I just wasn't in there long enough.

chicago is the shit. i went there about nine months ago for the first time and realized why the midwest doesn't entirely suck. not one bad meal my entire stay. also, a GIGANTIC music scene.
