River's edge closed, any ideas for places close by?

Are you referring to river's edge/mass music complex? How come they closed?

I am. They can't make rent I guess. Between that and the strick fire codes. They lost a lot of bands when they had to take out the coutches and posters due to the inspection. Sucks man, I have been there for almost 10 years in various bands, Shroud for what 4 or 5 of them.

A sad day indeed.

Actually, talked to my dad today (haverhill building inspector). he said that the fire department walked in there and shut them down because of the fire alarm issue

oh well


you guys should organize some sort of a "fuck the fire department" festival....i hear that those kind of shows go over real well here and we can get alot of rttp bands to play..........

Yeah I heard about the Fire alarm thing (talked to Denny today) and wasn't sure I should mention it or not. Your are talking about some huge bucks to fix that. The staff asked the R E owner and he refused, so there you have it.

There's Morgan Storage in Manchester -- the manager mentioned something about that Haverhill place shutting down. Not sure if Morgan's has anything available, but it's worth a try. Good luck, man.
