I can't get into Guitar Hero, I'm not seeing myself getting into this. Just too much to un-learn, and then I realize I could've been just playing guitar for an hour instead.

I'm not that into Guitar Hero at all, but this game can be really fun. I'm really referring to the vocals aspect. It's like Karaoke you get a score for. There are a lot of shitty songs but alot of cool ones too.

I wouldn't mind trying "Praise of Death" by Slayer on that
I know that on Sabotage by Beastie Boys the vocal scoring isn't based on the correct pitch (because there is no pitch really) but moreso on saying the right words at the right time for the right amount of time.

i picked this up on a whim the other day. just beat the drum mode on easy which was a ton of fun (especially since i dont know how to play drums.) i havent tried the other stuff like the mic or guitar yet but i'm sure that will be a good time. the only real problems are lugging it around and convincing other people to play it with you. Most fun songs to play for drum mode are Epic, Black Hole Sun, and Won't Get a Fooled again.

I am about 25% through expert drums and I was nowhere near any sort of "drummer" before playing this game. Now I can actually keep a beat. I am actually thinking about going and buying a real kit.
Won't Get Fooled Again, Tom Sawyer, Ride The Lightning, Blackend, Mississippi Queen, and Flirting With Disaster are awesome to play and hard as fuck on hard!
Green Grass and High Tides!!!!!!! HOLY SHIT what a long song not necessarily hard but what a fucking test of stamina.
my roommate has this game. i've played it on drums a few times and it was kind of fun.
the first time i tried it was playing creep by radiohead. i got bored with the drum parts on that song, so i tried to bust out a drum solo and i failed the game.

I dig the drums...don't get to play it much though.
I was in bestbuy and the kit was set up. Those pads feel awful. No rebound at all for any kind of double/single strokes. But I guess it's really not needed at all with this game haha.
