did anyone here see it? my expectations were exceeded. Most original vampire film I've seen in a long time.

On the nose. this one bored me to tears. A couple decent parts, but the rest of it was like any other "horror" movie out nowadays. The occasional BOO! and layers of blood, instead of focusing on what could possibly scare the audience.
This movie had potential but went right down the shitter when it began showing you the relationship status's of the vampires and their vampirettes.  |

I finally saw this. It had some great camera work in the beginning and definitely some great gore scenes. The whole set-up for the situation seemed promising, but then it was ruined by horrible acting and 8th grade level writing. Josh Hartnett ruins just about everything he is in with his horrendous over-acting. I would rate this as a good dumb movie. |

it was good for what it was. i liked the atmosphere of the movie and the blood. definitely would see it again though. one of the better horror movies recently released. |

wow. Am I the only one who really didn't care about this? Some ok kills, but for the most part, I thought it sucked. Good thing I wasted only a buck on this. |

No, I thought it was mediocre as well. It wasn't bad but could have been so much better if Josh Hartnett wasn't in it. |

wasn't as good as i thought it would be. I was hoping for some serious creepiness. But all i got was a handful of cheap scares from startling action. And i give HUGE allowances for zombie movies, they're my fav type. |

i watched this just cuz it was on netflix streaming xbox thingy. i had zero expectations and i was really entertained. weird / great vampires or whatever the fuck they were and so really nice kills too. |
