everyone has something to say about waking but they are great live and they are stand up doods. it's not like they play country or pop and as such they are bros in my book.
very true, they may not be your "thing," thats fine--but i don't get why people have so much to say. i guess, when you band sucks, and or, you are involved in nothing noteworthy, it's natural to displace your anxiety and self-consciousness onto others who are successful...

Yeah I could give two shits about the smn message board warriors. They're all jokers who never support local shows and just suck off the wrong people for the wrong reasons. Coma isn't that bad of a dude, we met him once or twice in NYC, wish he had the balls to post a picture of himself or to even speak to the bands he bashes reguarly in person.
It's a fucking Death Fest. You can only imagine a pack of tools who think Cynic's Focus is the 3rd greatest album of all time would use logic like that.
And for the record, yes I wish that there were more old school bands playing, but the simple fact is that out of the several I asked NONE OF THEM have played in months and in some cases often years. Nobody really takes us seriously, we don't have a mountain of cash and we're not snotty promoters who are ego tripping off power, we're just dudes in bands that want to throw a sick fest in a region that needs it.
