IM DEBATING BETWEEN THIS AND NHL 2K9

we have that on snes at the band space. great fuckin game. the only way to score goals is that cheap "go around the back of the net, loop back around front, and shoot at the far corner" method

hahaha yes.. that method works.

it seems to be the only thing that confuses the goalies

i used to use that method for just about every hockey game - even Blades of Steel for NES

hahaha i remember scoring nearly everytime on the sega doing that "play

there was some hockey game on sega where you could "accidentally" pass it into the goal rather than taking the shot. it pretty much scored everytime.

NHL 09 has an option to play with NHL 94 controls. This is easily the greatest sports game of the last 10 years.

Except for the part where everyone in quick match team mode plays like a fucking faggot with no hockey sense.

My roommates and I play this all the time. I just moved in so I just started, but they are ranked something like... 30 something in the world online. They're ridiculous. If you want their name get at me.

If they're playing it on 360 I'm interested, I've only gone online a handful of times and I'm already sick of playing pick-up with most of these fucks.

the last video game i bought was nhl 99. i'm either going to get windows for my mac and the pc version of the game, or try to find a cheap xbox. i decided a few months ago that i was getting back into the nhl games.
