First, where do you get all your parts? I ordered a bunch of stuff on DigiKey for wicked cheap but their capacitor selection kind of sucked. I couldn't find a 47uF capacitor that didn't suck. I also can't find DPDT switches anywhere.

Second, concerning DPDT switches, I know how to wire it for true bypass and I could use a 3PDT switch for true bypass and an on/off LED but what I want to know is how do you disengage the battery from the circuit so as not to keep it draining? It may be just something I'm missing but I can't figure it out.

Third, and to me the most pressing, where do you connect the ground to in the circuit. I know you can connect it to the chasse and I think this is what I've heard but can you connect it to the (-) of the battery instead? Or does this cause ground hum or whatever?

I'm just trying to get some parts together to build a Harmonic Percolator and then a Tube Distortion pedal and this is some stuff I have on my mind.

ebay can sometimes have some parts. there are a few people up there that build custom pedals and then sell them as well..

only problem with ebay is that in order to use it you must admit that ff3(6)>any FF after it though

FF3 is so so so so good up until the end, then I get bored every time.
And ebay is okay to find parts but my paypal account is fucked.

so help me out here...
i have this talking brain pharmaceutical advertisement thing that tells you about some insomnia drug. i want to bend it so it sounds all messed up because i dont really care what it says about some stupid drug. i tried touching all the circuits together but couldnt find anything cool in there, i was thinking about just putting some cheap easy effect just before the speaker, got any ideas? it runs off 4 AA batteries and i dont want to worry about another power source or anything complicated like that...

Haha wow, thanks. I haven't done much with circuit bending but you can do some crazy things with capacitors in series and parallel depending on their size. You could even try inductors for different EQing.
