So this guy I know was in this decent indie rock band for a while called red red wine. Nothing spectacular, sounded like your normal indie rock. That band then turned around, changed their name and became this:
this is how i see it. there is nothing wrong with taking advantage of an opportunity to make generic but profitable music if your intention is to use the money from its proceeds to fund the music projects that are more important to you (and would otherwise not be able to exist). i dont know of anyone who has actually done that succesfully but there must be some out there with the same point of view.

i feel the same way... must suck to have to play that garbage though...even if it were funding something better
the trick is to not "sell out" by playing shitty garbage like that but more so by playing good music that appeals to a wider audience then metal. its working quite well for my rock project.
Had this band on a show before, nobody was into them then.
Are they really on RCA?
I tried finding other info on them signing besides their page saying it before and couldn't come up with anything.
