Do you have that "In Home Agent" installed on your computer? Mi madre couldn't get the internet to work last night so instead of having me deal with it she called VZ and was told to download this program. It's in the program registry 3 times now and my computer runs like dog shit.
Just wondering if anyone has had any problems of a similar nature. Chances are I won't be able to get back online after this so I suppose it doesn't really matter anyway.

Ran virus/spyware scans twice after updating their definitions and no such luck there. Makes me think that it's the program because the CPU was running fine before this.

I suppose I should also mention that the computer runs fine in safe mode w/ networking which is how I'm online right now but consists of epic fail in normal setting.

Ha.
I was able to uninstall the program using the uninstall.exe that was in the folder for said program, but it still shows up in the registry twice even though it doesn't exist anymore.

And the control panel's program function won't uninstall it in safe mode for some reason. I was able to get it to try to do something in normal mode but it's like my computer only functions for a second every 3 seconds.
Is it possible my drunk mom couldn't get something to work, so tried to open it 75 times and blew out the processor or RAM chip or something? I'm way too out of the loop for this and don't know if that's real.
Maybe. I've undone everything that's been done in the past week and am still having the same problems. Trying to avoid reformatting the computer but it may need to be done.

Use a registry cleaner and remove traces of it, then re-install networking.
Never download this type of software; it's all crap.
