I have been saying this for more than a decade. According to doctors EVERY fucking kid (and adult for that matter) has ADHD. I have never in my life seen a "diagnosis" thrown around so loosely. When my sons' teacher told me years ago that he might have it i told her to piss off. He was in a funk for a while, but is fine now. Fuck these people.

my good friend is a pharmacist.. He tells me nearly every kid in the town he works in is on some sort of med for ADHD.
Who can argue against this? Our country is drugged up and big pharma has a stranglehold. Want to know why weed still isn't legal? Big Pharma is one of the main reasons.

I've seen legitimate cases of ADD. They're actually quite scary. Pisses me off that every little fucker who just doesn't want to pay attention is getting diagnosed because of the pharma hold on patient care.

Yeah it's a thoroughly valid diagnosis, but of course docs and teachers just throw it around to get kids on the meds and off the not-shutting-the-fuck-up.

on me. They just could not grasp the fact that I didn't give a shit about school and cared more about music and boner jokes. Ah well, I got on ritalin and adderall for fucking up so it worked itself out.

i read recently about how kids who were born just before the cut-off date for kindergarten sign-up, say August. 31st, and were enrolled that year were more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD than kids who were born a few days after the cut-off for sign-up, who had to wait another year to start school.
