Obituary fucking sucks.

cause of death did not suck! I will admit that their later shit was just that, but old obit was great.

nothing from them was great... it was all boring and pretty much useless.

ummm... that Obituary/Iron Maiden comparison is completely devoid of merit. I whole-heartedly enjoy Iron Maiden and a lot of old school death bands like Possessed and whatnot... I just dont like Obituary. They were and are boring.

you enjoy maiden cuz you didnt havta grow up with it....same reason you hate obituary....im right, get used to it.

but that doesnt account for why i like Possessed and Cannibal Corpse and Death and Incubus (not the mtv one.. the old school death/thrash band) and shit like that...

Yes!!!! The end complete is the best song by them I think..They started my way into death metal and they are an important band for death metal.Remember when roadrunner was good and had all the classic metal bands on thier lable along with obituary...

obituary is awesome.

the first three obituary albums fucking kill!!! the riffs may be simple but they make up for it with some great song structures and some of my all-time favorite solos. the vocals sound like satan himself vomiting.

never really cared too much for obituary, but slowly we rot, and cause of death have their moments. overall, a boring band that shouldn't be reforming. they already did reform and made one of the worst death metal albums ever in the process. no thanks.

Slowly we Rot owned the fucking universe. An Obituary reunion would overshadow the second coming of christ. easily.

I dont understand why they are reforming, Look at Catastrophic for christs sake, they would argue with people while up on stage cause everyone hated them so much, you would have thought Trevor would have gotten the idea to call it quits. I just think there are 10000 bands 10000000x better then them.

last time i saw them, Geary was snapping and yelling "you pussy!" and shit like that and it fucking made that guy go off. that was the most fun i have ever had at a show.

talent wise your right terance...but sometimes less is more and they had just great atmosphere. When they came out...no one sounded so doom and gloom. Get the two cd(out of the vault) of exhorders. Roadruunner is putting out two cd versions of all their old bands,like pestilance,suffocation,obituary and exhorder...get the exhorder one. The album the law is fuckin crazy. Some of the best riffs in metal are on that album...get it. You wont be sorry. Some say exhorder ripped off pantera..EXHORDER CAME FIRST!!
