Enjoy or no? I like their Pale Ale, but this has an additional kick to the 'nads in both the hops and alcohol (7.2%). I endorse -- this is a new tactic to limit my drinking by getting full on fancy beer.

Current success at proposed tactic: minimal.

great beer...

Have you tried anything from Southern Tier? I recommend any of their types of beers to fullest extent.

MAINE BEER COMPANY IS THE BEST SHIT. If you like IPAs, try their "Lunch." Always buy one when you see them, because they last long on the shelves. The "Mo", and "Peeper" ales are also good a pretty hoppy.

The Coolidge bar had that for a little while, was quite popular

Maine Beer Company makes excellent beer. If you like IPAs, though, you should try The Alchemist's Heady Topper. It's tough to find, but bars around Boston have them in cans occasionally. You can also get in Vermont where the brewery is.

Sierra Nevada does not disappoint. the Tumbler is delicious.

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at Oct 25,2012 9:08am
Have the Tumbler in the fridge as well.

Sierra Nevada?

Bigfoot Ale is their best.

It's good. I like it better than the standard IPA.

I also rather enjoy their stout.

Blue Hills IPA is killer. On draft = even better

toggletoggle post by largefreakatzero at Oct 25,2012 11:13am
Everything is better on draft.

Do you know of places that sell it? I've been looking.

not necessarily. Gearys out of a bottle is better than draft.

Just bottled my first home-brew ever. 3 pounds of honey = atleast 8% per bottle

Red Bones in Davis Square had it for a while.
