I'm about to leave for this.

toggletoggle post by Paul FOD at Jun 26,2004 7:44pm
wtf? i love how the fucking palladium will book this CRAP but they wont book a metal show, fuck it.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Jun 26,2004 8:17pm
it's all about the $$$. if they book a metal show without 20 fruit bands (look at this line up) it sells out. throw a metal show that doesn't have a century media/nuclear blast band on it they play for 20 kids. it has nothing to do with the palladium it's the people who listen to gay music.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Jun 26,2004 8:23pm
I would also like to point out that the new Slipknot is less nu-metal than BYD. hahaha

I'm back, finally... Pictures are uploading now.

super tired will make this quick...

what weapons bring war: dave was missing so no one died from an acute case of having a bass break their skull. the sound was pretty good once they turned the vocals down a little. I guess they also had sme guitar issues, but it soulded great to me.

the breathing process: skip (drummer) wasn't ther ewhere the show started and he wasn't there as his band set up. there was a 30+ minute wait here.

the hostage heart: damn, they sounded so good. they have a new guitarist (ex. group-hug). also I was surprised cause they have 2 new songs too.

the acacia strain: wow, the bassplayer is ex-DwD. slowly through their set, ppeple got kicked out. even evil shawn got in trouble for dancing. during the last song, the sound guy cut the sound. it was probably cause of the constant fights that were getting "too closet" to his equipment. they finished the song anyhow.

at this point, someone was wandering around looking for a tooth.

bury your dead: "if you don't want to get hurt, go up stairs. if you stay down stairs, I hope you die, sorry". even though they were missing another guitar player to give them that "massive" sound, it was awesome. the people in the crowd moshed so hard that there was 423523 fights. People even ran upstairs to mosh.

i cant go to these shows anymore cause of the xxx fight crews and the 9000 kids that would never even think of throwing a punch without 9 friends at their back.

and people wonder why i started the gay scene thread. xTUFFx

It's okay to fight all the time and gang up on people as long as you're not from the south shore or boston....cuz then you're a jerk apparently.

i hate kids.

toggletoggle post by Atlass220 at Jun 27,2004 3:23pm
Lame, and whats really funny is that all the mass kids are "TOUGH" in groups, but not by themselves. But i am sure they all remeber the living room show when they got tossed around. Lmao they weren't acting so tough then. What happened guys?

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Jun 27,2004 4:47pm
i think it's funny people get "tough" for nu-metal tone hardcore bands.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Jun 27,2004 4:50pm
ohh yeah does bury your dead still have the homosexual vocalist? cuz that adds to the humor of them.

toggletoggle post by skip(drummer) at Jun 27,2004 6:07pm
i got there late cause i had to work til 7. i told the poeple booking the show i couldnt be there until around 8ish, not my fault, there wasnt anything i could do about it. i got there as fast as i could..aka driving 100+mph 80% of the way there, and it's not like i live close either, i live a good 80 minutes away atleast. it's too bad something as dumb as that has caused you to hate us. whatev.

toggletoggle post by nick   at Jun 27,2004 6:55pm
i think you guys should all stop arguing about how obv crappy these bands are and re-look at my hillarious comparison between the kid in the green shirt and 'mac' from the movie 'mac and me'.

toggletoggle post by attendmyrequiem at Jun 27,2004 7:02pm
i bet he's from CT

toggletoggle post by todayistheday at Jun 27,2004 8:00pm

toggletoggle post by anonymous at Jun 28,2004 12:06am
yeah i knocked some kids tooth out and i guess i pushed one straight in and split his lip...

burns

toggletoggle post by RustedAngel at Jun 28,2004 10:53am
i thought hardcore was all about unity and brotherhood, yet there are so many fights that it's hard to believe any of that is possible. i'll never understand why it's cool to punch people.

toggletoggle post by Paul FOD at Jun 28,2004 12:36pm
The anonymous poster above must really appreciate the music that the band is creating. I love how the music doesnt matter as long as your TUFFFFFF in the pit its cool. Now go grab your army hat, your bury your dead cd and your cheap sleeve tattoo of a heart and flowers and make sure you make it to that show on time.

your text here boy isnt that the trust it is more of a fashion show then it is a hardocre show granted i like hardcore but im not done for the whole looking fucking trendy thing ...you all look the same with you army shorts that let me say im fucking sick of..then all with the same army hats and then whats with this new shit i seen at the show either really fukin small cowboy shirts or black carlord polo shirts and enough of goin to buy new newbalances or saunconys cause they dont help you mosh better and not to mentoon the hair wtf is up with this mop top shit its ugly well enough of me ranting you have something to say about this and try to prove me wrong go for it write it hair so everyone can see it lol..............

toggletoggle post by Atlass220 at Jun 29,2004 5:18am
Wow pushing people in the pit and knocking teeth out. That is exactly what hardcore stands for. I seriously think you need to bring back your copies of Boston Beatdown. Once again, your tough at the show with others around you, and a whole different story if it means taking your problems or aggression out on the person by yourself with no group of people standing behind you. But then again we all know we will never be see the day these "BROOOOOTAL" and "TOUGH" scene kids fight there own fights like actuael men. Ha its so true its funny.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Jun 29,2004 10:53am
Everyone's arguing about fighting. Shutup all of you and appreciate what this show was really all about.....

If you don't like the scene or the bands don't go to the show. Plain and simple. I just want to add don't all metal kids wear similar clothes too it's not like this is exclusive to just hardcore this happens with most people with similar interests.

toggletoggle post by M3axis  at Jun 29,2004 7:16pm
atlass your not talking about me are you cause im not part of ""BOSTON BEATDOWN"" lol im from lil old fucking pawtucket RhodeIsland far for boston and hell no im not in no CREW i just go in the pits by myself and do my own thing .....

paul, obviously. what else are you supposed to do durring such boring music?

toggletoggle post by XSEXYX at Jul 19,2004 11:30pm
you guys need to chill out. find something more important to bitch about, grow some balls, or get the hell out. if you dont want to get in a fight, then dont do something stupid. if worcester is too tough for you, then dont go. the kids there have shown what being tough is all about, and for all of those kids that run upstairs-a show is not just the performance, it is about the whole atmosphere, all the people you are around, the "common cause", and the music- fi you dont want to be a part of everything, dont be a part of anything

toggletoggle post by JellyFish at Jul 20,2004 12:29am
im sorry but never have i thought goign to a show has been about anything but music. If i wanted to get in a fight, Id join UFC and fight REAL fighters, not crews or whatever. You could be the toughest fucking person in the building, and you could still get beaten to a pulp if your outnumbered 6 to 1, especially in a quick moving situation like a mosh pit. I like pits, dont get me wrong, i love them very much, but you dont see me stomping all the people who hit me. Id could fucking flatten half those kids, but not all at once. Pits should be every man for himself. Its fags like you who make shows miserable for everyone and ruin scenes with your over the top violence that make clubs not want to have extreme music shows anymore. So try going for music or reconsider your fucking priorities. Fag.

toggletoggle post by salty_fist at Jul 20,2004 2:47am
I agree with you jellyfish. I'm all for the crowd going crazy and having fun and when you engage in the pit you should be aware that you may get hit by someone else who is moshing. But that doesn't give you the right to go suckerpunch that kid who accidentally kicked you or whatever. And if you hit someone on accident while moshing, turn around and ask them if they're ok. We should all just look out for each other.
