Appreciation for Coast To Coast AM w/ George Noory (previously Art Bell) as well as Art Bell's syndicated Somewhere In Time.

Nothing better on late night AM radio to listen to after a bong rip and/or a few beers while settling into bed.

it's a weird show. I catch it a lot.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Apr 18,2016 1:25pm
it's weird when they talk about politics stuff from the earlier 90's on the rebroadcasts.

toggletoggle post by Sprinter at Apr 18,2016 1:28pm
agreed. when you catch a rebroadcast and you aren't expecting it and they start talking about Bush Sr. and Clinton it's like "wat"?

Special shoutout to Ground Zero w/ Clyde Lewis as well. That show is featured back to back with Coast To Coast in my area. Clyde is usually predicated on political issues, but the other 40% being odd topics, it's usually a pleasure to listen to. Clyde did a show rather recently on odd interruptions of radio transmissions that sound pretty close to Power Electronics live music sets but they claimed it to be of possible paranormal/extraterrestrial origination. Creepy as hell when you hear it in the pitch black of your bedroom. I give full support to keeping the wee hours of the morning frightening.

MotleyGrue- you delve into the Maura Murray case at all? I've never seen that 'making a murderer' netflix thing, but the way the case has gripped me is reminiscent of how viewers reacted to the netflix special.

I have Netflix, been meaning to watch it, just haven't yet. The weird, the strange, the unusual always grabs my attention though.

Area 51 Frantic Caller was supposed to be a hoax, dude went on not too long after that to fess up, and he even did the frantic voice, and too make matters worse the band TOOL sampled that shit, fuck TOOL.

TOOL is awful. The Faceless are even worse. It just happens to be that this 'panic' call that influenced my interest into the unknown on late night radio, so I hold it dear knowing it's BS, quite like the Patterson-Gimlin Bigfoot footage.

Like many, I've seen things with my own eyes that make no sense. Sometimes I feel like listening to what others have allegedly seen compounds my interest into things that we don't understand.

I equate venturing into the unknown to being someone who speaks candidly and questions things for discussion on this particular website, as compared to the likes of king thunderstool who exists solely to be a tard with no substance as a way to incite responses.

(by the way, i agree completely about the hoax. would have ruled to hear that live, however.)
